Matched to bank statement — not double-counted
From paper pile to clean ledger
Zero-ceremony capture: photograph, import, reconcile, export. That's the whole workflow.
Receipt scanning that reads line items
Claude reads the photo — merchant, date, tax, and every line item, not just the total. Crumpled, faded, or foreign-language receipts included.
Bank statement import
Drop in a CSV or PDF statement. Columns are auto-detected, every row is categorized in batches, and messy bank formats are handled for you.
Receipt ↔ statement reconciliation
Receipts are matched to their statement entries so nothing is counted twice — even when the receipt and the charge are in different currencies.
Exports your recipient actually wants
Excel workbook with receipt images embedded, a submission-ready PDF report with receipts attached, QuickBooks and Xero CSVs for the accountant, JSON and a receipts ZIP for everything else. The file is the deliverable, not a lock-in database.
Built for people who submit expenses
Not another budgeting philosophy. ExpTrackers exists for the moment someone else needs your expenses as a clean file.
Freelancers & consultants
Bill expenses back to clients with proof attached. Per-project periods, a PDF with receipts embedded, and CSVs your accountant's QuickBooks or Xero imports directly.
Expense reports for client workReimbursement submitters
Whoever pays you back — an employer, a school, family — gets one clean file: the totals bucketed, every receipt image attached, nothing double-counted.
One file, ready to submitMulti-currency travelers
Spend in euros, get reimbursed in dollars. Receipts keep their native currency, daily ECB rates convert everything, and the receipt still matches the card charge.
Expenses across currenciesLives on your phone — no app store needed
Snapping receipts is the whole point, so ExpTrackers installs straight from the browser and opens full-screen from your home screen like a native app.

Your financial data, handled carefully
Trust is the whole product with financial data, so here is exactly what happens to yours.
AI extraction, no training
Receipt images and statement text are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for extraction — and to nowhere else. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, that data is not used to train models.
Private, isolated storage
Receipts live in a private Supabase storage bucket and every database row is protected by row-level security — each account can only ever read its own data. No bank logins: you upload statement files, we never connect to your bank.
Export anytime
Your full history exports whenever you want it — Excel, PDF, CSV, JSON, or a ZIP of your original receipt images. The file is the product, not a hostage.
Delete anytime
Delete transactions, receipts, or your entire account and its data whenever you choose. Gone means gone.
The full details live in the Privacy Policy.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to my receipt photos?
Each photo is sent once to Anthropic's Claude API to extract the merchant, date, total, and line items, then stored in a private storage bucket only your account can access. Anthropic's commercial API terms prohibit using your data to train models.
Do you connect to my bank?
No. There is no bank linking and we never ask for banking credentials. You export a statement from your bank as CSV or PDF and upload the file — that's the only way statement data gets in.
Which file formats are supported?
In: ordinary receipt photos (JPEG, PNG, and other common image formats) and CSV or PDF bank statements. Out: Excel workbook with receipt images, PDF expense report with receipts attached, plain CSV, QuickBooks CSV, Xero CSV, JSON, and a ZIP of your receipt images.
What happens when I hit the free plan's limits?
Scanning and importing pause until your allowance resets on the 1st of the month — nothing is deleted, and manual transaction entry stays unlimited. Upgrading to Pro lifts the limits immediately.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes. Cancel in one click from the billing page and you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. No retention flows, no emails to support.
Can I get my data out?
Always. Your full transaction history exports as Excel, PDF, CSV, or JSON — receipt images included (or bundled as a ZIP) — and you can delete your account and all of its data whenever you want.
How does multi-currency work?
Transactions keep their original currency and are converted for display and export using daily FX rates. Reconciliation is cross-currency aware, so a euro receipt still matches the home-currency card charge.
How do I install it as an app on my device?
ExpTrackers installs straight from the browser on every platform — no app store. iPhone / iPad: open it in Safari, tap the Share button, scroll down (tap “View More” if needed), then “Add to Home Screen”. Android: open it in Chrome and tap “Install app” when prompted, or menu (⋮) → “Add to Home screen”; Samsung Internet has the same option under menu → “Add page to → Home screen”. Windows / Mac / Linux desktop: in Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (or menu → “Install ExpTrackers”), and it opens in its own window like a native app. Mac Safari: File → “Add to Dock”. Once installed it launches full-screen with the receipt camera one tap away.
Can I request a feature?
Please do — we just launched, and early users steer the roadmap. Email us what you're missing (there's a Feedback button in the app) and you'll get a reply from a human; the most-requested features get built first.
